    • make a deposit to reserve your beef

    • we contact you once your beef goes to the butcher

      • we send you an invoice for beef weight x $4.25 per pound (price as of 09/17/25)

      • PRICE PER POUND SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT TIME OF BUTCHERING

    • you call the butcher to make your custom cut sheet and choose your packaging

    • beef is ready for pick up in about 2 weeks

      • payment due to Windy Springs Farm for remaining balance for beef

      • payment due to butcher for cutting and packaing fees (see below)

    • pick up your beef at the butcher and stock your freezer!

    • custom butchering and packaging fees determined by Baringer Bros. Meats (prices as of 09/25)

    • 72¢ per lb. cut and wrap with freezer paper

    • 92¢ per lb. cut and vacuum seal

    • $95 processing fee per animal

      • compact = 5 cubic feet

      • small = 6 to 9 cubic feet

      • medium = 12 to 18 cubic feet

      • large = 18 plus cubic feet

    • quarter beef should fit 5-7 cubic feet

    • half beef needs about 8 cubic feet
